Call for performers:
CASTING FOR THE COURAGE TO STAND
Theatre Action Project is seeking to cast one actor, male or female, in their touring show, The Courage to Stand, an interactive performance for fourth and fifth graders centered on anti-bullying skills and tolerance. The role involves a large educational component - so actors with teaching experience are highly encouraged to apply. This is a paid position and runs only throughout the school year anywhere between the hours of 7:30am and 2pm.
Please prepare a very brief monologue from a child-appropriate play/book. The character in the touring show plays many roles so variety is encouraged. This person must think quick on their feet, have very good skills in classroom management and facilitation. Also be prepared to read sides from the performance at your audition.
Learn more about this touring show here: http://www.theatreactionproject.org/prog_ip_cts.html
The audition will be held next week Monday, November 22, between the hours of 10:30am and 1:30pm. Please email dustin@theatreactionproject.org to set up an audition time. If this audition time does not work for you please specify in the email and we will try our best to see you.
Cheers,
Dustin Wills
